Sounds like they're trying to replicate the issue. When it happened to me, just restarting the car resolved the problem and I couldn't replicate it no matter what I tried. Am closely following your results though to see if it's anything to be concerned about. Don't worry, sometimes it happens and they'd rather be certain the issue is resolved rather than give it back to you and you experience the problem again

Picked up my car today. No issues were found and nothing was replaced. Both dealer and AOA believe it was a one time incident. I sure hope it won't happen again. Got winter tires installed (19" 235/35 Pirelli's Sottozero II Series). Drove home in heavy rain...the car is a beast Happy Holidays to you all!

^^^ Just make sure to bring it in for anything related to this issue to make sure it's documented, if you do have a lemon, you want everything checked and at the same dealership. If it happens a second time with no explanation, open a case with BBB.

Good luck

I experienced the same today. The car almost stalled, started jerking, was losing power, EPC light came on. I stopped on the side of the highway and restarted the car again..... it corrected itself. But the whole time I was worried until i reached home!

Looks like Audi could soon be joining the recall bandwagon!
A potential cause of the EPC warning light and its side effects that I have encountered could soon become reality.

Hey S3MM, just saw your post and I'm having the same issue. The service advisor told me that the car misfired on cylinders 1 and 4 and that Audi is still working on what further diagnostics they will need to run. I'll definitely keep you guys posted, but did you have any other issues after you got your car back?

Default Epc light

bought a certified used 2015 Audi A3 with 6000 miles on it in August. I've driven it another 3000 miles and I heard a noise when I accelerated. The Audi dealer said it sounded like I had turkeys in my engine. He reserved a loaner for me to pick up this afternoon. When I got on the highway to go to the dealer the EPC light came on and the engine started losing power as I was accelerating. Luckily I looked in my rearview mirror and tons of gray smoke was pouring out of the backside of my car. I pulled over and Called Audi roadside assistance. Car would not start again, so they towed me into the dealership. I will update tomorrow when the dealer looks at the car
