the virtual cockpit is a 3200 dollar option. losing the park sensors is beyond stupid. it just means that the car is stripped. the premium model is the one for people who cannot afford the premium plus or prestige as with all audi sedans. my '16 S3 prestige looks much better than the 2017 S3 and eons better than any A3. having said that I am envious of the inrix traffic reporting and the virtual cockpit.

Yes, but the premium A3 is by far the most popular trim. In the past year my dealer only sold 1 prestige and 2 premium plus A3 2.0s and we are one of the highest volume A3 dealers in our area.

There's a significant difference for sure in tech and visually if you're a hardcore enthusiast or picky. I would preorder with exact options if you're spending big bucks. I'll post pics and you decide but already glad to have waited for 2017. Plus, it's in its 3rd year so just another years forward of any other kinks figured out.
I'm looking at a 2016 A3 Premium Plus A3 BB with S-line package for under 32k with only 5k miles. I really like the s-line look and it's very difficult to find any 200 miles around my area.

I see; yes, the S-Line package is hard to come by on A3 because that's not really an option people cared for nor was it out in inventory. The S-Line package is standard on 2017 Premium Plus model.

If I were you, I would expand your search past 200 miles; if it's a feature you want, look nationwide.

https://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/d...3079/overview/ a little above your range but maybe consider?

Some of these have a little bit more than 5K miles but one of them has to make the combination you're seeking. None have the sport package but do have the S - LINE. Thoughts? Not sure what state you live in but these are all over and would consider making the flight out and driving back.

So I was just at my local audi dealer and was drooling over the new 2017 A3. My sales guy told me that they are having a hard time selling them. He told me that at this point audi America has no incentive plans yet for the 2017. The car in the showroom was the premium plus with the sline package and virtual cockpit. He told me an avarage lease with at least 4-5 grand down with run about 500 a month which is why he stated they aren't selling as much as they anticipated. I got my 2016 premium plus for 329.00 a month with 3 grand out of pocket total. As nice as it is the 2017 for just the virtual cockpit and redesigned front and back for another 175 a month seems a lot. But to each their own. I've seen people already retrofitting the virtual cockpit

That's pretty amazing. My girl friends ride should be here two weeks from today at the latest and will post pics even though you already saw it. It does look like a step forward in changes versus pre 2017 models. She pre ordered hers in mid August.

The Xenons have been downgraded big time on the face-lift.

They no longer carry the same signature DRL design shared with the LED.

Yep. I would if I were buying an A3 right now.

It may not look as exotic as the pre-facelift LED, but it's expected to have better low beams which plaqued the pre-facelift LED which caused IIHS to grade it a (P) poor rating.

The 2017 A4 IIHS review is a good indicator of this.
