A3 2.0T owners, what sort of mileage do you get?
Hi all - have a 2015 2.0T Quattro sedan - today only my second fillup since I've had the car but so far, with a mix of probably 2/3rd city and 1/3rd highway driving and with no AC use, no sport mode, I've only managed about 21 mpg. Is this typical?
Considering the car is rated 24/33 and I did do some highway driving I was expecting to at least be at the lower end of that range. The car also consistently seems to underachieve the computer's estimated range - I.E. if it says 350 miles remaining when I fill up, and I check the tripodometer when it says 250 I've only driven about 85 miles.

Yup, that's typical for me as well. That is my combined mileage according to the trip computer. I am not lead foot by any means. I do go with the flow of the traffic

That seems very low. I do drive about 50/50 between highway and city but I usually get around 26/28. I have seen 30+ on mostly highway road trips. I don't trust the computer so I calculate it myself more times than not. You using top tier gas?

Thanks to all who replied so far.
I'm using Chevron, is that considered top tier? Premium here is 91 octane. I'm in California so not sure if the local seasonal gas mixtures might be messing me up here but in my previous cars it didn't seem to matter, I always got at least somewhere between the car's rated city and highway mileage. The car was in the dealer's leftover inventory so was brand new when I bought it, under 100 miles, so hopefully nothing mechanically wrong but if this persists what should I have the dealer look for? Like I said, no A/C, no sport mode, a little use of the fan, mostly windows-up driving , most drives about 7-10 miles. I don't think I really have a heavy foot, so like I said, just surprised I'm not getting better results.

Chervon should be good to go according to their website. Very odd that you are getting those results.

I have a miserable, all city commute, averaging 40-50 minutes to cover a bit over 8 miles. I've only put 9,000 miles on my car in the ~20 months I've owned it, and it's my daily driver five to six days a week. My average speed is something like 23 mph. Plus I have the convertible, and drive top-down as much as weather permits. And with all that, I've averaged 20.5 mpg. So yeah, your mileage seems low(ish).

If you are driving in the city, you're going to get a average around that number because of all the stop and go traffic.
I picked up a new job this year, it's a little bit further away so I take the interstate to commute and I averages are in the low 30s on a 2.0T.

I have an S3, not an A3. But, driving without reserve, I can get low 20s in dynamic mode and a heavy foot. If I'm conservative and put it in comfort mode, I can pull high 20s.
