I'm on the market for a new exhaust for my 2015 A3 2.0T P+. I'm deciding between Milltek/AWE/Magnaflow, leaning towards milltek non-res catback. Anybody have a good video of either of these? All I can really find on youtube are S3s and A3 8Ps. Does anybody happen to live near Boston area with any of these on their A3 to hear in person? Thanks!
My very first post as a newly A3 owner here, but a AudiWorld forum member since 2000.
I recently acquired a low mileage '15 Scuba Blue A3 w/sport pkg and is also looking at an exhaust upgrade.
I am on the fence for the Milltek since I had it on my previous A6 Allroad with twin turbos.
It had a low tone at startup and only gets louder on full throttle which was very pleasing to hear.
The other choice is Borla which I had on a S4 with twin turbos. It was loud all over but not droning.
The Borla for the A3 has no resonator so I think it will be louder.
The Milltek has a choice of resonator / no resonator but there was a reviewer say with the resonator it sounded just like stock.
I installed the Magnaflow cat back system and I love it. Sounds great but not overly loud or drone noise.

How's the exhaust held up so far? I think I'm going to order this today
I had a magnaflow on my 2013 VW GLI ...same engine as A3.....it is looked great with the flared tips, well built, sounds great with one negative...drone between 3000-4000 rpm
as you can see borla uses 2 mufflers one for each side!!!! this is how you get the awesome sound not too loud just the right sound. as magnaflow only use 1 muffler A waste of cash if you ask me and they are the same price my local belle tire got it for me for 800.00 + 150.00 to install it.... i will upload a video when i get back in town 2 weeks

Yeah I looked into the Borla exhaust as well and listened to some sound clips on YouTube, it's personal preference I just thought the Magnaflow was more of the type of sound I was going for. Thanks for your input!
