A3 MMI Nav Update Available

The version number I downloaded and installed was VO395 98007 048 NAR 2016. I believe from the number that it is the 2016 version. I think they are supposed to make updates available every six months. So if that is the case it would be the first of the 2016 updates.
Map Update is on the list but is a Check item. I believe they do charge if the dealer does the update.

Sorry, but I just don't see the link to download the map update. I've done it before, but they've modified their site. When I followed the instructions found on the first page, I do not have a link to map updates. Am I missing something?
Edit: I called the dealer and it appears that Audi has removed the ability to download the maps via the website for my 2015 A3. He said that it is now only available through audiconnect.

Hey, this is not true. I struggled with this in January, and found the solution:
audiusa.com --> myVehicle --> Audi connect services --> Audi A3 Map Update
you log in through SSO (single sign on) when going from myVehicle to Audi connect services, so it may be your browser and you needing to clear the cache (?)

I have a couple of comments.
First a new SD card should not need to be formatted. It should be 32 Gb in capacity. The 64 Gb SDXC cards work for music, at least on my model but I am not sure if they will work on the map update.
I had an original issue with opening the initial file downloaded which had a .jnlp suffix. It would not open on my Windows 7 computer. I did have Java installed. I tried Audi tech support but they could not come up with an answer about what to do. Before they called back, I tried doing a download and install of the latest version of Java. During the Java installation process it removed all previous versions and installed the current one. After that the file would open and I was able to open the Java application that downloads the actual map files. I assume that at some time in the past one of the Java updates corrupted the file association for jnlp files, however even with manually having the computer try and open it with Java initially did not work. There was no problem doing the actual update in the car.
I found the download process on the computer to be very long - at least 4 hours. I have a fast internet connection that routinely tests out at over 90 Mb speed. Perhaps I was doing the download when the server was very busy, but would have to rank it as one of the slowest speed large downloads I have ever done. Indicated download speed was in kb per second.
My '15 A3 was an early build with '14 map originally, so the update is welcome.
