Anyone else disappointed with the 2.0T lack of top end grunt?

If you are willing to risk your warranty, you can get an ECU flash and you'd be faster than an S3. Some Dealers used to offer it back in the day if I remember correctly. Either way the A3 is nice. And 0-60 in the mid 5's is by no means a slouch. Have you driven another A3 for reference? reason I ask is because I had a 2001 330i that did 0-60 in 6.1 seconds and that felt fast. I've driven the 2006 model 330s that did 0-60 in 5.6 and those felt fast as hell. Your car isn't slow, you'll find out when someone challenges you
Edit: I realize 0-60 numbers isn't a good gauge for a how car drives. But the A3 has more low-end power than the cars I mentioned, and should feel faster.

I just sat in a A3 Sportback yesterday and was originally the car I was going to buy used. I'm glad I didn't as it feels far more cramped than the newer A3. The car is really fast, just most of that torque is felt the most down in the rpms. I'm still getting use to the engine and shift points (I knew my previous cars dyno range just by hearing and rpm ranges). Just waiting to get to that point with the current car.
