Hi. Yes, already contacted them (vag-navisystems) but they replied that they have never seen this before ... as you may know, there are several versions of this, mine is called NaviTouch Android others just say Q-ROI which is owned by QDis who are the real vendors. I sent them an email as well.
I am aware this is the android recovery mode, just wondering if anyone has been able to factory restore from this menu or able to reinstall/reflash the Q-Roi Jellybean 4.2.2 OS.
Thnx!

I got that message before on my Nexus 7 once, but it ended up fixing itself soon afterwards.

Hi

Is it possible to connect a USB bluetooth dongle to the system?

I have an ODB2 I would like to have connected so that data from the car can be displayed on the screen.

I installed Navigation system with RVC and it works well.
Glad to have chosen that solution for Navigation

How do you like it so far? I'm planning on getting one myself.

I own a Q-ROI (Navitouch Android installed on an Audi S3 8V. It was on the shop for over a month, battery drained while there, now I have a "dead" or "resting" Android robot on the screen. (Picture attached)

Someone else contacted me about this too and we were trying to figure this out by trying to reflash. This basically means that your system still works, its just memory is probably corrupted and needs to be reflashed. I don't know how to get to the recover mode on the system so you can choose files, but you can try downloading the file from the link, put it on a SD card or USB stick, plug it in and see if that starts reflashing.

Other than that, you will need to get the company (Vag Navisystem or QDIS) to do a warranty claim. (Vag Navisystem is pretty useless in terms of anything technical... they are basically just a stereo shop).

You can hook up a wifi OBD2 reader and the system will and can read all information from it (like using torque). Unfortunately this system doesn't have BT so you can only use a wifi dongle which are still pretty cheap. I haven't tried a USB version... not sure if there are any that are compatible with Android.

I can not get mobile internet to work with the HUAWEI E1756 modem there is sent with with the navigation system.

Have anyone gotten it to work?

It seems like the SIM cards is registered on the network, but it looks as though it is not told to create internet connection.
Am i the only one with problem or is there others with the same problem?

I like the idea of being online to be notifyied about traffic jam and other stuff.
