Back from some travel and my MMI cable's arrived.

Just having the A.S.S. setup, I'd say the BT streaming is good enough for me (Samsung S6ej, Android 5.0.2) - the differences with the Aux port isn't enough to justify the loss of functionality. I'll try Android Auto next and see what I can do with voice control, but suspect it's limited to the Google Apps.

I'm also thinking that the differences for in-car Audio between Spotify Extreme and Tidal lossless are small enough to not matter in the car, which is a pretty lousy sound platform with the road noises. Spotify has such a larger user base and better software, where Tidal has a more musician focused service.

These are definitely personal decisions, I may try out a B&O system on Monday when I go in for my first service.
