A/C Button - Take humidity out?
WHen using heat with the A/C button on...does it just take humidity out of the air? What does this actually do? difference in using heat / cold with A/C off

Sure, the A/C will dry the air.
I suspect the compressor has a lock-out so it may not run when it gets very cold.
