Plan to get CM. My question. My new MOTO G4 phone has a lightweight rubber case covering the sides & back. Will the magnet mounted on the phone work ok thru the rubber case? Do not want to remove protective rubber case.

The magnet does come with an adhesive side. Not saying you would want to, but you could apply the magnet to the outside of your cover and it should work fine.

Thx. Want to mount directly on phone.Then I can use either with cover on /off. Can the magnet be removed once it has been attached to the phone case?

I have an extremely tight fitting Spigen case for my LG G5 and it works great. The metal plates they give you are very thin. Probably thinner than a business card. If it fits inside my case without buldging anyone else should be fine. Still sticks perfectly well too. Get it you won't regret it.

Hi, Yes you can stick the metal plate to the back of your naked phone... To remove it you would need to use a blow dryer and dental floss... Don't use a screwdriver or razer blade please. The best cases designed for these metal plates are made by Spigen... I highly recommend them as that is what I use. I hope this helps answer your question.
