Default Console creaking noise- super annoying

what can be done to fix this? it occurs if your knee touches them- also when taking corners

Ok, that is super annoying... it doesn't squeak in my car... and sorry, I haven't taken it apart yet.

i found out it actually glued on. i don't have the ***** to rip it apart...

Maybe get some graphite spray in there somehow? Lithium spray?

I also have the same problem with my 2015 model. Super annoying. esp when driving on rougher roads.

here is a link of a german guy that upgraded his knee bolsters with the leather verison. the translation is pretty bad. but thought i should post this here

I couldn't make it make noise moving it with my hands... weird.

However, my seatbelt latch casing squeaks so bad that I put a potato chip bag between it and the seat.
