I know, 'it's only worth what someone will pay for it."
But what is your guess, would someone pay more for a limited addition (I think it's 500 cars)?
I'm considering selling/trading mine for a more customized package on a '16 S3.

It depends on the buyer. If they want Daytona Gray color, it is rare on the S3 at this time unless they are willing to place a special order and pay for the exclusive color. I would guess you could expect to get 50% of the cost of the exclusive color as a premium on the vehicle's resale value based on its options.

I owned an '11 S5 Cab in Daytona Gray, and while it's still a great color I think it's getting pretty tired. I think Florett Silver looks great on the S3, but then I'm biased. :-)

I just got a second Q7 in silver and my 01 A4 was silver… oldie but a goodie.

Well, you still got a great color, and once you see the magenta and turqoise flakes in the sunlight you will love it!

So, as far as the present timing goes, apparently the Daytona Edition is not worth any more than a similarly featured one… at least to a dealer.
I just traded it. (Long story, but basically, the deal I had on it really sucked)
I'm getting sliver!! Woo hoo. Same features, plus (hallelujah) HomeLink! Awww yeah.
Never liked the red seats and hated the manual rear-view mirror (HATED IT) and now I have a new car.
Everybody wins. I'll be visiting the dealer to find out what it sells for… stand by for updates, I don't expect a CPO's Daytona S3 to be on the lot for long.
It was a perfect car, not a scratch on it and, largely, I babied it. Search the bay area inventories or PM and I'll hook you up with the dealership (and probably get you a deal).
Bummer is I had to leave for vacation and don't take delivery till I get back… expect a post and pics then.
