I was on the freeway a couple days ago when the power fell out from under my foot. No juice at all. Once I pulled off, the engine would turn over but it would never achieve any RPMs, then it would die.

Got a call from my dealer today, who said it was a fuel pump failure. Said he hadn't seen anything like it, on the A3 MKII or otherwise. (Mine is at about 2100 miles--2.0T.)

Just thought I'd mention it in case anyone else has the problem.

That's terrible news. I take it that incidents like this is what's covered by the Audi Care correct?

I had this happen to me back in May in my 2015 A3 2.0 T with only a couple hundred miles on it. Luckily I was on a city street and could safely and easily pull over.

FWIW, this was an item that had several failures (two for me) on my 2012 GTI 2.0T.
