Default Gear indication
Do non USA A3 or S3 show what gear you are in? My prior Audi's showed transmission gear in Manual, Drive, and S.

I've been able to turn that function on in my '11 A4 with VCDS. Our 2006 A6 has it enabled by default.

That's definitely a feature I would like to see.

i.e. D1 to D6, S1 to S6 just like M1 to M6

Hmmm, brief research seems to indicate that the information displayed comes directly from the transmission for DSG gearboxes...

My car has the 8 spd automatic.


Enable Automatic Gear selection shown in DIS

[02 – Auto Trans] [Adaptation – 10]
Select “Single Gear Display” from top channel drop down menu
Select “D on/S on” from new value drop down menu

That VAG COM menu does not show up for my 2015 S3. Either in Automatic or Instruments.

I hope someone finds it. There are a couple things I would like to change, but this one thing would justify the cost to buy it.
