I had previously sent info from this forum to my local dealer re. Voice Activation for my 2015 A3 premium plus. Service Mgr personally followed up on it & called me for tomorrows appointment. Will post results soon.

Did you give them instructions on how to activate or did they know how? If you provided them what were the instructions? I take it the dealer cooperated and didn't provide push back.

All I did was give my dealer the info that was previously posted here which gave the name & location of an east coast Audi dealer who activated voice command for one of our forum members. I have no info on how to do this & my copy of the performed service has no useful info on it. The only comment is "Activate voice command with the help of TACS". There is nothing else helpful except that there was no charge to me.
The only further comment "change coding so the voice command will operate" That's it.

My dealer here in Orlando did it for me last year. No problems, it works fine. I just rarely use it though.

Was it Audi North or Audi South? Did they charge?

Does this apply only to cars with Nav?

It was Audi South Orlando. I just asked if they could do it for me and said I knew it was not supported by Audi and that I would not complain if it did not work well. They did it while I was having a wheel refinished and a tire replaced. No Charge for the update. I do not have navigation but it works for audio and telephone commands. I just do not use it very often. Probably need to train it, but the manual controls are so easy I just use them.
