How many miles does your car state when you fill up?
So when I bought the car and filled up the gas tank, the on-board computer would state that I would have 405 miles to the tank.
Recently though, its only reporting 380 max and I fill up until the gas nozzle first clicks stating the tank is full (or close to it). Usually fill up with 13.5 gallons if I'm recalling correctly.
Is anyone else seeing lower numbers from their on board computers?

Dependent upon driven history...
… granted I am discussing an S5 and RS5, but when we fill up, I get anywhere from 260 - 340 miles on the trip computer. Its all dependent on the previous drive. The low numbers are when we are railing through the mountains, and the the 350 is a lazy highway drive… It fun to fill up at the top of the mountain at 260, and have 290 showing after a 50 mile drive to the bottom...

Depends on your driving style x miles before refill

Miles to Empty
The miles to empty is based on the mpg for the last 50 miles before you fill up. If you were hyper-miling, you'll get a higher number, if you were flogging it, you'll get a lower number. It's that simple. You may never get the same reading twice.
