I have a 2013 Golf TDI manual, 2 door.
The car is light around 2900 lbs and is a stick which means the gearing is taller than DSG, helps with mpg.
The 2015 Golf manual has lower drag coefficient(more aerodynamic) so it will get beter gas mileage than mine.
Also I think the engine peak torque arrives earlier and has a few more horses.
The highest I got with mine was 52 mpg so I would imagine with the new Golf it could get close to 55 mpg.
I heard of some 2015 A3 TDI getting around 50 mpg. Mainly highway though.

Just refilled today, got a 430 mile range.

I'm shocked, I didn't even top it off (which I seldom do because that's not good).

I just went to East Chicago and back to Central Indiana and had refueled before I departed, it had gave me the typical 360 mile range. I've been driving in Comfort drive select mode lately since that's the fuel saving mode.

I'm at or near 7,000 miles now, perhaps the car is still learning and it's finally allowed me access to the full capacity of that fuel tank that's suppose to hold 14 gallons according to Audi.

I think this is at play with me here. I love how these cars are learning our driving habit and rewarding us.
