Default Installed SmartTop on my A3!
This is a great and easy to install mod! No more having to hold the top button while it goes through the motions. Just one touch up and down and now I can put the top up or down with the remote too!

Not that I am aware of, but I am new to the VAG world. I don't have, nor do I have access to VCDS, so this little box worked for me!

Aren't you afraid to void the warranty? That is my only blocker at the moment for going through

Not really, it can be disabled remotely in a minute before taking it in for service and then the top will operate like stock. Unless they actually open up the rear side panel they'll never know it's there. If I have a problem with the top, I can remove it physically in 10 min now that I know how to do it.

Is it possible to stop the process (opening or closing) in the middle? For example, if you see that you don't have enough clearance?
