Recommend that you not ask questions if you do not want simple answers. I have used S.T. in 2 previous cars. Sorry I can not help you.

I bought mine here: smartTOP - Audi A3

It was a little bit cheaper than everywhere else. Level of difficulty was not high. Hardest part was removing one of the OEM plugs because you have a very small space to work in. Once I figured out that you could pull loose the panel it was plugged into, it was much easier. The directions included are spot on and very clear. The only tools you need are a small headed flat screwdriver and a T40 torx screw.

Install manual: mods4cars product manual

I noticed your mirrors fold in as well. That must only be available on the US models. Oh well, we have front fog lights.

I would really love to order one! Just not sure if I would use it... Do you feel that you can't live without it?

When operating it with remote can you stop it in the middle, then continue?

Have had ST on 2 previous cars. If you are going to keep your car--buy it. After I sold my previous Cabrio I sold my ST on line.

I use it every time! Love it. Now, instead of having to hold the button to lower the roof, I can get it, pull p on the button and put on my seat belt and start driving. It just free's up the hand. It's a convenience thing!

This is an easy install - plug and play. I keep a USB cable plugged in so I can connect my PC any time. I have used in my BMW and A3 and wouldn't think about not having one. Go to MODS4CARS - YOUR SPECIALIST IN SmartTOP HIGH-END ELECTRONICS FOR CONVERTIBLE TOP AND REMOTE CONTROLS

for all info. The video below is my car
