Hello All,
I finally decided to retrofit my LED cupholder in my A3. I have attached pics. There was a video on YouTube showing you how to do it so I just followed that and it worked. If you dont have vcds or obdeleven don't do this retrofit as it will throw out a lot of faults that you need to clear. If anyone is interested in the part numbers here they are:
LED ring: 8V0947157A
Wiring: 000979009E
Connector: 8W0971832

In total about an hour. Getting the console part is the hardest part with s soddering gun. Check out the video on you tube

nice. my leds on my cupholder are white. i like the red better.

You have the LED package. I could of made it white it was just a matter of changing the wiring around but since I don't have the LED package everything in my dash is red so I made it red.
