RS4, My A3, Nick's Allroad, Marios A3.

Took the car out yesterday to get some quarter mile runs. Not too bad I must say for the little amount of engine mods done.

1st Run: 14.086 @ 94.18
2nd Run: 13.718 @102.05
3rd Run: 13.364 @105.09 but -.295 RT (DNQ)

So all in all if I have better reaction times, I can get to about 13.5 ish on 100 octane. Will have to try again another time and set the JB1 to higher boost to see if that helps lower the numbers.

Been awhile, but some new goodies put on the car.

Power folding mirrors
Rims/Tires
Spulen Oil Catch Can
Torque Vectoring XDS set more aggressive
New Racing Helmet

The car handles and rides so much quieter and smoother with the better and lesser amount of rubber ironically. Going from a H to Z rated tire sure does make a world of difference. I'm actually really happy with the car and mentally said "now my masterpiece is done". This really should be it for awhile (really only thing else I would want is the JB4 whenever that comes to fruition and the VWR 6pot BBK kit, the later depending on how serious I get into tracking the car - $3K for brakes, I simply can't justify right now).

With the previous headaches I've received from dealership service decided to keep the car as its financially responsible and going to keep the car away from them as much as possible. Starting doing the oil changes at 5K miles and should of bought a vacuum oil extractor years ago as its so much easier than getting under the car.

Heading to Laguna Seca next month as a track day present to myself and can't wait!

Niche Invert M162 20x9 +38 with Sumitomo 235/30/20 tires.

More than I should of paid lol. Learned that US cars most likely do not have the right door modules too (find 5Q0959592E & 5Q0959593E), which was an additional expense, however I think you could just solder in pins to your existing modules since the circuit board looks like it has the schematics. Also make sure to get the LHD US mirrors as the RHD do not sit properly (had a distributor send me the wrong ones and a hassle to try and ship back across the pond).

Overall, they are worth it if you REALLY need them as I do as my parking situation is a little complicated sometimes.

So you *did* play around with and keep the XDS settings, huh? :-) Did you end up really seeing a difference?

So far, I'm still not really seeing/feeling a difference, but then again I haven't pushed the car at all, being fearful of ruining the new rims with the rubber band tires. During Laguna Seca, I want to run the track with Standard, Medium and Strong to see if I really can feel the difference.

I'm suspecting that I will get the rear to let loose a little more with the higher settings. Also currently monitoring my gas mileage as these setting should lower it significantly.

Also to note, when the XDS settings are changed you will get a bunch of errors (TPMS, ESC), you need to do a hard reset on the module and then they will go away. Did these with the OBD11.

Some additional information for those looking to add power folding mirrors. Since the US cars do not come with the proper door module, you can just solder in new pins (red marks in images) to save yourself some money instead of buying the proper versions. After that, code into the car and you should be good.

Add new pins in red marked blocks for power folding mirrors

Bro, the car looks freaking amazing! You are a mad scientist with your car. I wish you were my neighbor but you'd probably being screaming at me for asking you questions.

I added just added an APR downpipe, intake w/catch can and APR state II tune. I'm lovin it!

Thanks man! Been looking into getting the RS3 front end... Still can't figure out the canbus info to allow for steering wheel controls, some reason the baud rate for infotainment won't produce results, but the drive train shows a bunch of info that makes no sense to me.
