Default New Picture at Jones Beach

Car is a little dirty, but it was nice lighting late in the day. With the new winter wheels and tires.

Congrats!!! Silver looks deep. Nice wheels. I didn't know that you could order those style wheels in the U.S? They're not on Audi's web site. Or maybe I missed it.

Thanks. They are aftermarket ALZOR 628 wheels purchased from ECSTUNING.

I ordered almost the exact same car. Same color, prestige version and the only option I skipped over was the advanced technology package. I think nanny services were worth another $1400. I placed my order on November 29, 2014. The ship with my car on it leaves Europe on Thursday and my salesman says I should expect delivery sometime in the February 23-25. 12 and a half weeks. I'm in the Northeast - NYC area and with all the snow, I'm not crying about how long it's taken. I've got some great test drives all laid out!

I forgot to ask some advice ... I'm moving to Florida in six months so I thought I could get away without buying a set of winter wheels and tires. I figure I can get through the next two months without them. Anyone have a thought on this?

Great question, I will be picking up my S3 1st week in March and was wondering if the summer only tires would be ok until next winter?

If you live anywhere with snow or ice then no, it is not considered safe to drive on summer performance tires in these conditions. I recall one poster who totaled his new Daytona in rather minimal snow late last year. Judging by the recent Northeast snowstorms, it shows no signs of stopping!

If there's one thing I'd put money into before mods, it's winter wheels and tires, safety first.

As much as it hurts, I'll take your advice. I can always try to sell them in April.
