Looks great Valboo, how do you remove the trim to get to the underside of the of the transmission switch array ? and also where do yo utp the vehicle lighting connector from to illuminate the HHA switch ?

Years ago I saw instructions for a motorcycle to wire up the remote to the headlights so flashing them twice rapidly would activate it. This has the added feature of replacing a dummy panel tho! Nice.

Removing the trim? Short answer is extremely carefully. I had some maintenance instructions given to me and will have to post them later.
For the illumination hook up i found the simplest way was to connect to the rear console lighter socket used for the rear passengers. It is surrounded by an illuminated ring that turns on with the accessory lighting.

As requested here are some instructions on accessing the center controls:
(... not responsible for scratches, mishaps, :-( ...be gentle, don't use metal screw drivers as the metal will leave marks)
Removal of shift boot
Pull up shift boot out of the way
Removal of selector position display - flex Tab #2
Position Display out of the way - no need to disconnect...
GO Easy on these trim surround tabs...
Removal of trim surround
Trim surround
Gently but firmly snap apart upper console controls
Remove upper console controls and disconnect e-brake button
