Highly anticipated Audi S sport seats with diamond quilting and extra lateral support as well as extra leather on the door and both sides of center console is now available in the US.

The cost is $1,450. Where have you been "S Sport Seat Package" when I recently purchased my new S3?!!!

Those diamond quilted seats are so awesome I would have paid additional $ to get that option. I always say to myself don't be a first adopter of a new model - you will regret and here comes a proof of that. (:

I look at it as one less thing I would have had to wrestle with buying or not I was on a tight timeframe so I could not custom order. I am very happy with what I got.

Looks like they added 2016 models also. Has the giant text disclaimer about how images might represent vehicles from other regions always been there? Maybe they took a lot of flak for showing the super sport seats on the US site this whole time...

I had those diamond quilted sports seats in my 2013 S6. They were really nice.

I would have added them to my S3 had they been available. Interestingly, I showed them to my wife and she thinks they are "disgusting."

They look awesome in person. Not only the seats that look cool in that package, but you also get the doors and center console wrapped in leather with stitching and all that. It really does add a lot of premium feel to the interior of the car.

But, isn't that one of the entire points of this seat? It needs to be a manual seat so that you can fit with a helmet on your head. This, unfortunately, is something I discovered too late. Ive actually been looking for a manual seat to replace my electric one because I need to keep my head/helmet on in the sunroof area so that my neck is not slightly compressed.
You've actually helped me back to an S3 from a TT now that I know its a manual seat!

If they are similar to the ones in the S6 I would agree with her. Not so much "fugly" as plain old "too busy" and distracting from and inconsistent with the simplicity of the car's other interior features.
