I'm hearing production won't start on s3 until November... Anyone hear something similar?

I've heard they were going to start building in august from my sales manager. On a similar note, they are not going to be building any A3's for the US with the driver assistance package on the premium plus until September.

I noticed on AOA's European delivery site it says that the factory shuts down in August. So maybe the US bound S3's will be the first to be built when they start building again.

I checked with my sales guy last week, he said my S3 is on track for delivery in September and it will be the first batch.

I was just told by Audi Financial that my delivery date was October 13. I had to give them my "Commission Number" to extend my lease, and the rep mentioned the delivery date. This jives perfectly with the normal audi lead time (Audi Cars: Build Out and Start-Up Dates) and my order date of July 9th.

I ordered in June… delivery in NOVEMBER… sigh

Production week for my S3 is October 14th. delivery around Thanksgiving.

The dealer told me that I am getting the first one allotted to their dealership. (NorCal)

I'll take their word on that.

i ordered june 20th in north carolina and my build week is 9.8.14

I was able to give my dealer the options I wanted around the week of the June 20. They couldn't put it into the system until July 9th, at least that's what they told me.
