Retrofit: Using Drive Select button to control Bilstein Ride Control Module

Don't think the flaps were on the muffer portion, as the clicking noise when I enabled via VCD was coming from mid/firewall area. So those flaps seem to be maybe another set further up in the exhaust path (maybe near turbos?) My A3 was one of the very very first to arrive and its very confusing with some of the things this car seems to have over normal production stock premium cars.
As for the switch, Looked again and Aliexpress has it for 75 bucks and includes shipping. OEM Audi A3 S3 8V multi switch OFF PAL OPS switch 8V0 925 301BM or 8V0 925 301CB-in Model Building Kits from Toys & Hobbies on Aliexpress.com | Alibaba Group
Been looking for S3 exhaust and can't really find anywhere, Really been just eyeing the Magnaflow but would love to have the ability to change sound/flow like you.

I tried that yesterday and could not figure out how to do it.

There are two horizontal 1/4 inch slits on the underside of the switch on the driver and passenger side. Put both radio removal tools in the slits with curve pointing away from the center of the car and then pull both at the same time and it all comes out.

So you'll need the blade radio removal tools. Can find on Amazon http://amzn.com/B005IBKI1W

do you know what the other wires are for? Trying to replicate this on a B8 RS5 and wondering what those get hooked up to, and what they do? The white, brown and grey. Thanks!

I think they are somewhat relay wires, I have only used a few, I can't really remember exactly as its been years since I did this. Still working strong after all these year using stock switches.
