Strangely enough I've never noticed washer fluid on the top of my car, and never a drop on the sides. The spray remains on the windshield, and what little splash that does comes from the wipers is minimal. And If I'm being honest, I don't ever think I've seen a drop of fluid on the top of the car as well.

The headlight washers sprays far more fluid than the windshield washers. My last Audi recommended you use the headlight washers sparingly so you don't run out of windshield washer fluid too fast.

you lucky Spoonie,

I know the first time I used the wiperblade sprays on my A3, part of it was shooting right over the windshield.

If you have kids, time to make them wear gloves in the house or get rid of them.

I'm disappointed that Audi put the headlight washer in the S3 and not the A3.

I guess that justifies the S3's $41.1K starting price over the A3's $29.9K

things that make you go hmm...

From what most people say, the headlamp washers get the front end/hood all dirty anyway. I've never looked at my headlights and thought "I wish I had washers for them".

In the winter in Vermont depending on the level of **** I've been, the headlights can become visibly more dim from salt and or icing. I've wished for them at times... but really I see no use for them outside of maybe 5 instances in my life.

All S3s have them, A3's don't. It don't matter if you have halogen (not in US), HID, or LED.

I think Audi cut corners to meet the $29.9K and said take out the headlight washers for the A3.
