Two faults, three days

I'm not sure whether I'm really losing coolant or if there's just some sort of fault with whatever sensor sets the light off. When I opened the reservoir to check the level it didn't look particularly low, but since I never really looked at it before, I'm not sure what normal is.
Plus, it's already been to the dealer and they found nothing.

I had the exact same problem a couple of month after I bought my 2016 S3. The check coolant light kept popping out. Took it a couple of times to the dealer for a checkup and said its a bubble thing at first. But problem kept coming on, although coolant wasn't actually leaking. They eventually figured out its a faulty sensor and changed my water tank and its sensor. Problem went away immediately and never came back.

It happened 2 more times on my drive back from FL to MA. The first time I ignored it and kept driving for a couple of hours. I assume that if the the temperature gauge is OK its not going to overheat. When I did stop to check it, the coolant level was well above the minimum so I did nothing. The light went away when I restarted the car.
The second time I decided to take the cap off and check the level. It hissed while removing and when I got the cap off the coolant level was about 1/2 inch below the top of the rim.
Which all goes to my thinking that I may also have a faulty sensor. I will take it back to the local Audi dealer that I purchased it from.
Does Audi keep their vehicle service records in a central data base. Will the MA dealer be able to see what the FL dealer did?

To bring this, hopefully, to a close: I got the Coolant warning light again yesterday. Luckily I was only a couple of miles from the dealer that I purchased the car from and they took me right in and replaced the expansion tank. I hope that resolves the problem.
