Wait a minute! Found new "hidden" features - (hill hold assist & reverse mirror tilt)

The button you are referring to is actually the Auto hold button. It has an "A" on it. This feature is separate from Hill Hold Assist.
The hill hold assist just momentarily keeps the brake (not parking brake) applied after letting go while on an incline to keep the car from rolling backward so the driver has sufficient time to accelerate forward. The Auto hold feature keeps the brake (not parking brake) applied automatically wether on an incline, decline, or level ground, so that the driver will not have to maintain their foot on the brake while at stop lights. The car will not move forward unless the accelerator is pressed. While this feature is in operation, either a green "P" or a green word "brake" is displayed in the instrument cluster.

I can see it's situational use at times when my leg is feeling antsy when I'm stopped at a red traffic light and wants to move my foot off the brake to stretch it a bit.
Auto-Hold is the cure to this situation. That's definitely a luxury feature.

Is this true? I just picked up a 2016 S3 Premium Plus. Tried programming it a few times and nothing worked. Does the VCD route work?

Have 2015 A3-Premium Plus Cab. How can I get Rt side mirror to dip when I put in Reverse? Am new Audi owner--what is VCDS etc? Appreciate straight forward instructions on how to do this. Can my A3 dip rt Mirror? Have has many MB's with this feature so I am familiar with it. ( Use the HOLD brake all the time.)

its a cable that plugs into the obd2 port. worth its weight in gold. you connect one end of the cable into your laptop and the other end into the obd2 port. it allows you to tap into and unlock hidden features
