Would you be able to post how to do this or direct me to the thread?
I have searched several sites for this one but have come up empty.

This mod would definitely improve night driving.

Thanks a bunch!

Sure just goto Channel 55 > Long Coding> Find the byte for North American Region Rules> uncheck it

For me this caused a MIL something about Audi Adaptive Lights and calibration. But I was able to get around that by going into Channel 55 > Basic settings >select Basic Headlamp setting in drop down> click go>click stop> select Acknowledge Basic Settings> Go> Stop
Then reset the fault codes. You shouldnt have to do this and I dont know why mine did but just in case. (maybe because i have euros with a NA car) either way i get the functionality and no more errors.

Were you driving out of PB on Garnet yesterday, by chance? I think I may have seen you. Don't think there are many blue S3's in town.

Hmm probably not me. I'm out of town for the holidays, unless someone has stolen my car while I was gone. ;|

But yeah I've only seen one other blue S3 around town, but I'm sure there are a few of us.

Default Codes?

Hey MarkN,

You don't happen to have the actual coding for your mods handy to post here or PM me do you? The shop I'm going to can do the basic VAGCOM mods like rolling windows up/down, but they said anything more then they'd charge me for the time it takes them to look up the codes and test them etc. Could become pricey.

Any of the ones you may have handy to write down would be much appreciated. Thanks!
