I did drive the x-drives; when I saw a video of the Audi's just killing BMWs off the line, that did it. Gotta love the speed. Before we get too old and don't care....

AINT that the truth…

Sat in a 2 and 3 series today, liked them, but not love… major mark-ups on the 235, which one should NEVER pay… but it pisses me off when they do that… major turn-off and the dealership, to me, is 25% of the purchase decision.

Saw the first S3 in SF today, love at first sight and sit, test driving tomorrow (post and pics to follow)

95% sure that I'm going to hold out and wait for my S3 to arrive.

Not sure what value it adds, but when the lease is up on my 2013 335 xDrive (with almost every option) I plan on seriously considering an S3 Prestige.

Haha no worries! Its amazing how much run flat tires alter the ride.

It is truly a travesty that bmw can't put a donut tire in the car.

I did spot one here. I don't know where it came from. Very sleek.

There is a rumor, but none yet planned for release in the US/ North America

Also not sure the US would have the stomach for a $65k A3, no matter how fast it is.

We have the stomach for a $75,000 3-series. Why not a $60k RS3? We also had the stomach for a $40,000 Mitsubishi Lancer. If the things performs. $65k is a bargain.
