I am currently looking at a 2007 A3 2.0T. There are a couple things that need to be done to the car once purchased I am wondering if I can get a better break down on prices for what need to be done, either average cost from shop or DIY.

1.Front brake pads
2.Rear shock absorbers ( there is a clunking noise when going over small bumps)

Is there anything else I should look for in the car before making an offer. I looked over all the paperwork from regular maintenance and it is all up to date. The car currently sits at 150,000 KM. What should I expect to go on it in the next year.
