2008 A3 Timing belt or chain?
I have read in many blogs stating, that there is a timing belt and there is a timing chain. Which is it in a 2008 Audi A3? Any help would greatly be appreciated. I bought it used it does have some miles on it. It was a one owner lease from Audi. Great car it just worries me a little about a timing belt breaking. Thanks!

Yes. 2008 has belt, 2008.5 has chain....you can tell by the engine cover. Black FSI is belt, TFSI is chain...
