A3 1.8T AGU engine transplant
I have had to replace the engine on my 97 Audi as the timing belt snapped on the last one resulting in the engine being totaly destroyed.
I am looking to buy a new engine and have found a few. I'm just wondering if I need to worry about getting an ECU with the new engine or will the old one be fine to use?
Its a like for like engine (same year, code) but am just concerned as unsure if the ECU is specific to each engine.
