Hello guys. I'm new here. I have a problem with my Audi MMI

When i bought the car i found in SD card one card with 512 memory. 6 or 7 music files.

Today i've got an new SD card with 16 GB memory and i've tryed to make it work but no result. I put .mp3 files and when i insert it in audio console it writes "reading card please wait " And no answer.

Is anyone here who can help me with this problem please?

Model yeaf? Unit type? Card type? Number of files?

Card type: Sony SDHC 16 GB
Number of files on SD : about 30-35-40 files....

Your problem is the SDHC card. You can only use an SD card.

So. If I'm going to switch cards I'm in going to buy one SD not SDHC doesn't matter what memory size have it. Right?

Regular SD cards typically have a lower memory size. In the SDHC HC=High Capacity.

You should be able to use any size SD card (within reason). Unless you've got very large MP3s you'll hit the systems "number of items" limit before filling up a card. The system has a limit of 500 "items"--items being files or folders.
