Did the epoxy work?
All just received my DP and am seeing the same issue with it lifting after tightening down the screw.
Did the epoxy work?
What about cutting the sheetmetal in the floor to fit the existing latch on the TT DP?

Re: A3 Dead pedal fitment
On my 2010 A3 with Luxor Beige interior/carpet, just installed a MK2 TT sport dead pedal as mentioned in this thread. Top clip, anchor screw hole, side molding clip all lined up. Yes, had to remove the anchor foot/clip/hook on back. New DP is slightly shorter, more rigid and curved at top than stock; so when tightening anchor screw at top, DP bottom pops up. Used longer screw with a spacer behind, which helps. DP feels stable and small gap at bottom not visible with floor mat in. Maybe removing top tab clip, shimming behind DP at top, then bolting top tab in new position to cockpit cowling will close gap entirely at bottom of DP. Will keep fiddling. Best price I found was at BKS-Tuning OEM Audi A3 8P/TT 8J dead pedals OEM VW Audi Parts - Interior - Exterior - Lighting
