Default AUDI A3 2005 cd player/interior change

Hi guys,
I just want to ask you if its possible to change from this control panel (foto nr.1) to this (foto nr.2). If yes, then what parts should i buy and what else should i know about doing such changes.

the issue is going to be mating ECU to the new head unit. Your gonna need a VAG COM cable to access the ECU to make the connections and info routing work. I've had these systems in the past. But yes...you can retrofit this unit in. I think you'll need to swap the amp out as well. How the sound is distributed is different.

In figure NR1, the tweeters and the mid ranges are wired together to and from the amp...in figure NR2, the tweeters and midranges are connected separately. You can piggy back the connections like most do...but it sounds crap. It's better to get the amp and head unit together, and just rewire the speakers.

BTW..the amp is in the quarter panel on the right hand side...
