Hello, my name is Roger and I am from norway. I recently purchased a pair of new headlights for my Audi a3 8l. But I can't seem to figure out how to remove the old ones.. I remove the two bolts on top, then I have to turn a plastic screw to release the blink? But the blink is stuck, and I don't know why. If someone can explain this to me step by step it would be greatly appreciated! I have looked around for guides for hours.

Your going to need to remove the front bumber, there are 2 bolts below the headlights holding them on.

I apologize I didn't realize you said 8l. You should not have to remove the bumper to remove these.

good news really.. but am I forgetting something, or do I just have to push the indicators out with force?

Personally I have never worked on a 8l A3. But if its anything else like b5 A4s, there should be a small hole in the upper fender, down in the hole should be a another bolt holding it on, usually you can loosen the bolt than use a magnet to remove the bolt so it doesn't fall down. Hope that help you.
