Default Catalytic converter replacement

What things do I need to consider? If I don't want to replace the exhaust, is there value in doing downpipes and a high flow cat? What about emission tests?

The Main And Rear Reasons For catalytic converter failure:
1.Engine Tune-up
2.Excess Fuel Entering Exhaust
3.Oil or Antifreeze Entering Exhaust
4.Deteriorated Spark Plug & Spark Plug Wires
5.Oxygen Sensor Not Functioning Properly
6.Road Damage or Broken Hangers
If The Above Listed Problems Are Occured There Is No Use By Repairing Or By Replacing With New One. And the warranty that comes with a new replacement catalytic converter does not cover the type of damage.

Common Problems for catalytic converter failure:
1.Overheating
2.Matrix Contamination
3.Clogged Cat Situations
These Common Problems Can Be Solved.

Check All Above The Problems First In your Car And Later Go With The Emmision Test.

Yes, there are performance benefits going to an aftermarket downpipe w/high-flow cat. However, you'll need a 'tune' and legality depends on your States emission laws.
