I am torn between the AWD Quattro or FWD TDI. I live in the East Coast but wife drives a Subaru with AWD should weather be an issue. I like the idea of fantastic mileage with the diesel but concerned about driving experience and re-sale. I don't think I can feel the difference driving. Any opinions or thoughts on this? Ordering the car this week.

I purchased an A3 2.0T Quattro for my wife, since the A3 1.8 (Quattro not available) handles totally different. Steering has a lot lighter and less precise feeling. All my previous Audis were Quattro,s somehow they give a more secure feeling in rain and of course in snow.
