I'm trying to run down an intermittant fan problem. Sometimes the fans work and sometimes they don't. I don't think my A/C condenser fan ever works. I had it diagnosed and the shop said the fans needed replaced but they do come on when I shut down the car....sometimes.

I'm suspecting the fan control module and have been told it is under the battery. I just pulled the battery out and there is only wiring under it.

It's an '06 A3 2.0T. Any guidance would be a great help.

I Googled it and I believe it's in the driver's side fan.
