P0456 to P0455

P0456 to P0455
I scanned my 2006 Audi A3 2.0 TFSI, and the initial code was P0456 (small leak detected).
I purchased aftermarket Bosch purge valve (40$) and R.R'd the part, since it was cheaper then a gas cap(55$) (no one test gas caps anymore, state emissions used to do it).
Cleared the codes.
2 days later. Now i have a P0455 (large leak detected).
Any idea?
Maybe a hose issue? I only disturbed the purge valve?
Seems the commonality between the codes is the FUEL cap but codes changed when i replaced purge valve
NOTES:
I used hose clamps instead of band clamps to install the part, in case i needed to disassemble in the near future. I also reversed the purge valve and the same code came up.
As far as i can see physically the Fuel Cap seems to be in good condition. Oring is still flexible.
