Default Rear windows clicking but wont roll down?

Well ive made 2 other posts and not a bit of help. So maybe ill get some reply this time around. 07 audi a3 avant. All of my windows worked fine last week and all of the sudden the two rear stopped working. None of the switches work to roll them up or down BUT all the switches causing a clicking noise in each door. Even if i hold the switch its a click on, and click off. Fronts work just fine. Any ideas? Cant find anyone with this problem. Seems as if theyre getting power from the sound, they done make any noises that would lead me to believe they broke in some way? Help!

Can you roll them up or down with master switch from driver's door?

It most probably that your window motor went south or some wire can be bad. Strange though it happen pretty much in same time for both rear window.

I have similar thing happen to my driver door but it still works in like 2 of 5 times... Time to new motor looks like for me as well...

I cant roll them down from the master switch. But both my master switch and the switches on the doors cause a clicking noise in each door. No movement though...not sure what the heck happened. I really hope its not the motors, heard they can get very pricey.

You also can use Vag Com soft to see what's going on. It is little easier to diagnose the problem.

Do you happen to have it? If no - ask around, many VAG owners have it.

check the driver's door harness, wires there like to break over time. usually around the door hinge.

Thanks. It started working the next day. Perhaps it was due to extreme cold. My car is only 5 months old.
