Retrofit Heated Seats Possible?
Couldn't seem to find any previous discussions on retrofitting the A3 seat to have heated seats.
I did find a thread in the A4 forum stating that power seats with lumbar support DO have the preinstalled hardware and simply require the purchase/installation of the necessary harness/wiring (found at kufatec.com).
Are the A3 seats the same?? More specifically, my A3 will have the titanium package (alcantara seats); will they already have the heating hardware pre-installed although the car does not have the cold weather package??
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated, thanks!!

Most A3 components are build-to-order so I would doubt that the heating elements are present in the seats. You would also need a new climate control unit with the seat controls which run around $800.
