Roof rack install
Have any member with a A3 and full sunroof retro fit a factory roof rack. I was wondering specifically if the mounting posts are hidden under the plastic strips that run the length of the roof on either side?

you waited a whole 12 hours for an anyone bump? hahahaha
so go to audisportnet a3 8p section and look at sticky for parts database. get the retrofit kit which has the template. template isn't really needed as under the headliner, the spots for the drilling are roughed up to indicate where to drill. The headliner is the time consumer

So the screw in holders are not located under the roof trim. A lot of cars have the lift up panels to insert the bolts and I was hoping they would be hidden under the trim.
