Default S3 really "squirelly"???

Looking for some feedback from you S3 owners. I've had my car a little over a month and have a real issue (want some feedback from others before going to dealer). The car at highway speedy on anything but the absolute smoothest surfaces seems to be really "squirelly"-by this I mean that it seems to constantly be moving around the road-requires constant steering corrections. It doesn't appear to be alignment because if you let go of the wheel it will track straight until the tiniest change i the road and then it seems to move to one side or the other. I have the 19" tire pkg and have the Continental Conti sports-wondering if one of the tires could be bad, but then I should experience this at lower speeds also-this and the over-weighted steering are totally taking away the fun of the engine-just turned 900 miles and thinking of getting rid of it if I can't get this resolved. For a frame of reference, my trade was an original FWD-2000 TT (heavily modified).
Please tell me if you have noticed this problem and what tires you have.
Thanks
