Default tire pressure warning light reset

My tire pressure warning light came on few days ago and it turns out I had a nail in one of my tire. That was great, the system worked. However, the warning light still comes on even after I fixed the tire.

Any idea on how to reset the warning light?

Thanks,

Paul

U.S. 2008 A3s have the active TPMS system with sensors in the wheels. You have to put enough air in the tire for the sensor to report OK tire pressure. AFAIK there isn't a reset switch.

The OP has a car with the passive TPMS which uses the ABS to detect low pressure. These have a reset switch or dashboard function to reset.

Once you have the tire pressure back to normal, press an hold the set button for about 5 seconds.
the set button is located below the radio next to the hazard light.
