2008 A5 1.8Ltr - Starting problems when warm
Hi all
My usually reliable A5 has developed a starting problem when warm (cold start is fine). When I leave the car for a short time (15 mins plus) after getting it up to normal operating temperature and then try and restart the engine runs fine for a few seconds and then just dies. I then have to try again numerous times until it catches and then works fine. I've tried different throttle positions with no obvious success. No problems at all when running. My garage has checked fuel injection and has replaced the fuel filter with no success and now appear to be stumped. I noticed a similar thread in the A6 section but not sure if the suggestions there relate to the A5.
Help please!
