My 2010 A5 cabriolet was Reaer Ended terribly in STop n Go traffic on freeway by a Toyota Pickup. The driver was 100% at Fault and his insurance State Farm is covering everything.
The car is still in the process of being moved from Tow Yard to Shop last 4 days.

Given the damages in the picture and also this roll-over protection or some metal beams shot out behind backseat headrests. Minor front bumper damage.
The battery started but not the engine.
Not sure if the Convertible mechanism got impacted or not.

Will this be a total loss or repairable?
What will be Diminished Value if repairable?

Ouch! Sorry to hear that

I doubt its totalled. The car is still worth a lot, and there doesn't look to be major frame damage. Those rollover bars go back in, and probably won't have to be replaced.

It's really hard to tell from a picture, but I would be shocked if they made it a total loss. But I do wonder why the battery is still charged but the car won't start.
