Default 2013 A5 MMI Problem

My phone is linked to my car, but I can't get Pandora to play through the car's speakers. It worked when I first got the car, but then stopped working a few months later. Also, when I press the voice command button on my steering wheel, nothing happens. Again this worked when I first got the car, but then stopped. Is it some setting I have wrong? I don't recall changing anything, but then again, who knows.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Laurie

How did you get Pandora to go through the speakers? Bluetooth? Also, assume you were playing Pandora from your phone?

Yes, it's from the Pandora app on my phone, and I'm assuming it played through Bluetooth. My phone is linked to the car in other ways that work - I can tell Siri to text or call someone, and she speaks back to me through the car speakers not my phone. I didn't mention this in my earlier post, but the screen in the car shows that it's playing the song on Pandora, but there is no sound.

Interesting to see what others say, but I have never been able to get mine to work in a Bluetooth Audio mode like some of the rent cars I have driven. Further, if I am trying to play something through the audio jack from my phone (iPhone 5), I have to turn the Bluetooth on my phone off.

obtw way, I have never used the voice system on my car. Too old a dog to train myself and car to be able to work together

I just bought a used 2013 Audi and have no problem playing any audio from my Iphone 6 Plus to the car. You have to connect your phone and then turn on Bluetooth Audio as well. So think of it as two things. The phone and the Music. Once this is on. You can go to Media and select your phone. Not only can you play Pandora, but it also sends all the information to the screen and the information screen in the dash. The quality is better than Sirius too.
